Insulin review, before giving insulin dose make sure you check first the CBG reading (capillary blood glucose) normal is 64-128 mg/dl. Tip: always check insulin with other nurses on duty before giving it , because giving insulin in wrong dose can be life threatening, treat it as though you are giving blood component to your patient.
